The Revlite laser removes pigmented lesions such as sun spots, freckles, some pigmented birthmarks and tattoos. The laser energy is preferentially absorbed by the pigmented lesion, destroying the pigment-containing skin cells while leaving surrounding non-pigmented skin intact. This 'laser toning' treatment gradually lightens stubborn pigmentation with little to no 'down-time', while improving skin texture and pore appearance.
