Deep groove lines such as the “parenthesis” between the nose/mouth and the cheeks, and deep vertical frown lines between the brows can be very effectively and ‘instantly’ reduced by the injection of fillers, which are most commonly made of hyaluronic acid. Depending on the type, post-injection care, and amount of movement at the injected area, fillers last from 3 months to 1 year. If used in combination with Botox treatment for frown lines, fillers placed in the vertical frown line groove will last longer.
