Also known as "broken capillaries" or telangiectasias, these are unsightly red to purplish lines due to small blood vessels visible in the skin. These are commonly found on the cheeks, around the grooves of the nose, and on the legs. The appearance can be reduced by a series of IPL or vascular laser treatments. Larger networks of spider veins on the legs can be effectively reduced with sclerotherapy injections.
